Spinal Instrumentation & Fusion

Spinal Decompression and Instrumented Fusion

Spinal instrumentation and fusion involves procedures used to stabilize the spine after an extensive decompression of the spine renders it unstable, to provide a construct for fusion to occur between two or more spinal levels. Implants can include a combination of screws and rods with or without cages placed into the disc space between vertebra.
